An act to amend Section 1505 of the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

Existing law establishes the Department of Motor Vehicles under the control of the Director of Motor Vehicles. Under existing law, the director, with the approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation, is required to organize the department in a manner that the director deems necessary.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 1505 of the Vehicle Code is amended to read:

1505.

The director, with the approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation, shall organize the department in a manner that he or she the director may deem necessary to conduct the work of the department.
