The Public Utilities Act imposes various requirements and duties on public utilities.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the provision naming the act.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 201 of the Public Utilities Code is amended to read:

This part shall be known, and may be cited cited, as the “Public Utilities Act.”
