An act to amend Section 8020 of the Streets and Highways Code, relating to city streets.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

The Change of Grade Act of 1909 authorizes the city council of a city to change or modify the grade of its city streets in the manner provided by the act.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 8020 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended to read:

8020.

The city council of any a city may change or modify the grade of streets therein, its streets in the manner provided in this part.
