For purposes of specified provisions relating to the common powers of cities and counties, existing law defines the term “local agency” to mean county, city, or city and county, unless the context otherwise requires.

This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 50001 of the Government Code is amended to read:

50001.

“Local agency” agency,” as used in this division division, means county, city, or city and county, unless the context otherwise requires.
