An act to amend Section 12100 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to weights and measures.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

Existing law provides that the Department of Food and Agriculture has general supervision of the weights and measures and weighing and measuring devices sold or used in the state.

This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 12100 of the Business and Professions Code is amended to read:

12100.

Where not otherwise provided by law, the Department of Food and Agriculture department has general supervision of the weights and measures and weighing and measuring devices sold or used in the state.
