An act to amend Section 701.4 of the Public Utilities Code, relating to electricity.

Existing law declares that it is policy of the state and the intent of the Legislature that state and municipal electrical resource acquisition programs recognize and include a value for the resource diversity provided by renewable resources.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that declaration.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 701.4 of the Public Utilities Code is amended to read:

701.4.

It is the policy of the this state and the intent of the Legislature that state and municipal electric electrical resource acquisition programs recognize and include a value for the resource diversity provided by renewable resources.
