LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

The California Bicycle Routes of National, State, or Regional Significance Act authorizes the Department of Transportation to establish a process for identifying and promoting bicycle routes of national, state, or regional significance, as provided.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the provision naming the act.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 889 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended to read:

889.

This article shall be known known, and may be cited cited, as the California Bicycle Routes of National, State, or Regional Significance Act.
