(a) The panel shall review research projects to be conducted in this state that would require the administration of Schedule I or Schedule II controlled substances.
(b) The panel shall inform the Attorney General of the head of the approved research projects that are entitled to receive quantities of cannabis pursuant to Section 11478.
(c) This section shall become operative January 1, 2028.
(Repealed (in Sec. 5) and added by Stats. 2025, Ch. 571, Sec. 6. (AB 1103) Effective January 1, 2026. Operative January 1, 2028, by its own provisions.)
