14136.3.

No prior authorization shall be necessary for the provision of nonemergency medical transportation services to Medi-Cal beneficiaries when the beneficiary is being transported from an acute care hospital following a stay as an inpatient to a nursing facility or any category of intermediate care facility for the developmentally disabled licensed pursuant to Section 1250 of the Health and Safety Code.
